Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prapita Thanarak was invited as a panelist at a workshop on “Thai Societal Issues and Opportunities for Co-Creation of Solutions,” held on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023, at Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok.
The workshop was conducted by Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI) and Bolliger & Company (Thailand) Ltd., focused on Thailand’s societal challenges, working on co-creating, exchanging ideas, and gathering feedback on potential strategies and opportunities for addressing the identified challenges. Discussants from Japan and Thailand (UNFPA, EEC, SET, SEC, ETDA, SGtech, Entec, Chulalongkorn University, etc.) shared their fruitful experiences and solutions. The workshop featured a keynote session and panel discussions focusing on six pivotal areas:
- Wellness
- Disaster Prevention and Infrastructure
- Education and Human Resource Development
- Water and Food
- Mobility
- Energy and Environment.
