เมื่อวันที่ 9-16 พฤษภาคม 2569 รศ. ดร.ศักดา สมกุล อาจารย์ประจำวิทยาลัยฯได้เดินทางไปติดตามความก้าวหน้าการทำวิจัยของนางสาวชญากานต์ แซ่เซียว นิสิตปริญญาเอก สาขาวิชาวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้า นิสิตผู้ช่วยวิจัย โครงการวิจัยปริญญาเอกกาญจนาภิเษก (คปก.) รุ่นที่ 25 และ นายธนกร แก้วชุ่ม นิสิตปริญญาเอก สาขาวิชาสมาร์ตกริดเทคโนโลยี โครงการพัฒนานักวิจัยและงานวิจัยเพื่ออุตสาหกรรม (พวอ.) ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2566 ที่ได้เดินทางไปทำวิจัยต่างประเทศ ณ University of Kassel สหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนี โดยมี Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Friebe เป็นอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาต่างประเทศ และได้นำเสนอแนะนำมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรและโครงการวิจัย ให้กับนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ณ University of Kassel อีกทั้งได้เดินทางไปเยี่ยมชมโรงงานประกอบอินเวอร์เตอร์ของ SMA Technology AG ทั้งนี้การเดินทางดังกล่าวสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรกับ University of Kassel อีกด้วย

During 9–16 May 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Sakda Somkul, a lecturer at the College of Renewable Energy and Smart Grid Technology, traveled to monitor the research progress of Ms. Chayakarn Saesiew, a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering and research assistant under the Royal Golden Jubilee Ph.D. Programme (RGJ-Ph.D.), Batch 25, and Mr. Thanakorn Kaewchum, a Ph.D. student in Smart Grid Technology under the Researcher and Research for Industry Development Program (RRi), Fiscal Year 2023. Both students were conducting their research abroad at the University of Kassel, Federal Republic of Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Friebe as the overseas advisor. During the visit, Associate Professor Dr. Sakda Somkul also introduced Naresuan University and the related research projects to undergraduate students at the University of Kassel. In addition, the delegation visited the inverter manufacturing plant of SMA Technology AG. This visit further strengthened academic and research collaboration between Naresuan University and the University of Kassel.
